3. Discipline. When one runs an internet based business from home, it is very easy to get side-tracked and not do the work required to succeed. Even though you are your own boss and can decide which hours you choose to work, you do still need to put those hours in and do what you have to do in order to achieve the results you want. This is one of the reasons why planning is so important.
4. The ability to never give up. It is at this point that the majority of internet businesses tend to fail. The skills required to succeed online can be learned by anybody with enough desire to do so, but many people do not have the will power to stick it out until the tide starts to turn in their favour.

5. Be passionate about what you do. If you do not totally love the idea of working from home on the internet, then don't do it. If you don't love the products that you sell or the work you are doing it will become a chore and make you unhappy, so be sure to choose something that you can be enthusiastic about. You need to look forward to getting up in the morning and pursuing your desire.
6. Learn everything you possible can about your business. This is a major key in becoming successful. Continuous study will keep your mind active and filled with new ideas and solutions and also keep you updated on the latest trends and developments in the internet marketing world.
